Herro

As you guys know, I don’t like graphic t-shirts. If you didn’t, you do now. I currently have two graphic t-shirts that I’ve worn on the blog. But I still don’t wear them very often. So I was really surprised when I grabbed this shirt this morning. It’s white so it’s basically a basic….basically. Plus, it has my favorite verb. If you can guess which one it is, you’re probably reading my blog too much….and that’s awesome.

Don’t forget!!! If you’ve broken one of your style rules this week, email me your outfit and about the rule you broke so I can feature you rebels.

I’m wearing a secondhand scarf ($3), my husband’s cardigan ($20), Herro Hachi shirt (won from RicAdeMus’ giveaway sponsored by Herro Hachi), J Brand jeans ($158), flats from the Philippines ($7), and JCPenney bag (free with gift card).

Rules are for breaking…unless it’s the law.

I wore this for church today. I haven’t been posting my Sunday outfits because we’re always late and so I end up throwing on whatever and feeling like whatever, you know? But today I did my hair and actually thought about what to wear. I deserve a million points. Change that to dollars and we’ve got a deal.

One of my previous style rules was not wearing like-colors together. But I’ve been trying to break my rules because they’re stupid. I love the light colors here together:  gray, ivory, and white. Your homework assignment for this week is to break one of your style rules!! Email me if you do – I’d love to see your outfit and know about the rule you broke!
I’m wearing an Old Navy cardigan ($4), JCPenney shirt (free with gift card), lace belt (from Fay), skirt from Korea ($10), and JCPenney heels (free with gift card).

Tip:  Use double-stick tape when you wrap your cardigan so it doesn’t flap and get frumpy!

I’m not a bowler but I do have a bag.

This is going to be another short post:  I have a major headache. Okay, not major but it’s one of those annoying ones that is kind-of there and kind-of not but you know isn’t going away until you sleep for a week. It’s the worst thing in the world besides not knowing what you want to eat. THAT is the worst.

Debut of my birthday bowler bag. It’s full of snacks…and I don’t even have a kid yet.

For a short post I talk about food a lot.
Wearing my husband’s H&M sweater ($20), DownEast Basics tee (gift from my mother-in-law), JCPenney necklace (free with gift card), secondhand Gap jeans ($9), secondhand wedges ($8), and JCPenney bag (free with gift card).
